FAQs
Is the conference held in a hotel where I can also stay?
The Going Deeper Conference is held at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church. By holding it in a church, we keep the cost of meeting space down, and give conferees the freedom to choose lodging that works better with their budget.
Rochester has Uber, Lyft, and Taxi Services to get you from your hotel to the conference. And/or you can carpool with other conferees.
Will there be editor and agent appointments?
The GDC does not offer agent and editor appointments. There will be agents and editors there, but there will not be scheduled pitch appointments.
What meals are offered with my registration?
- A dessert reception Thursday, April 23rd.
- Snacks on Friday and Saturday available all day
- Tea, coffee, water, and pop all day
- Lunch on Friday and Saturday (GF and Dairy Free options available)
Will I have to choose between workshops being offered simultaneously?
Every workshop is a general session that everyone will attend
Is the building accessible for those with mobility issues?
- Yes! There is a ramp into the building
- Everything is held on the main floor, so no stairs
- Restrooms are wheelchair accessible
Will the workshops be available to purchase later?
All workshops are being video recorded and will be available to conferees for a limited time after the conference at no extra charge.
Will there be a bookstore?
There will not be books for sale at the conference.
How can I connect with other conferees to arrange hotel room, rental car, and carpooling?
Once you register, you will be invited to a private FB group called 2026 Going Deeper Conference. There you will get updates and be able to connect with other folks flying in, driving in, and booking hotels.
What about handouts?
All handout documents will be sent via email ten days before the conference for each conferee to print and bring with them or download to a laptop to use at the conference.
